Good Friday

Since Kori and Mums were in town until Saturday, we celebrated Easter a little early on Good Friday.

Ellis looked so cute in her bunny rabbit outfit from Aunt Kori!

And Lane wore his bunny shirt and looked cute as well!

Sweet cousins, ready to hunt some eggs!

We hid some eggs in our front yard for the kids to find, and Lane was pretty excited!

Ready...go!

Evin isn't walking yet, and didn't really care for the feeling of the grass, so she just pointed to the eggs she wanted in her basket.  :)

Lane, however did anything and everything to get to those eggs!  I bet next year he will have some pretty stiff competition once his cousin is more mobile!

Kyle's mom came in town that afternoon, so we had a full house!

Found a tiny one!

So very proud of his loot!

Evin was perfectly happy with her purple egg.

Happy little egg hunters!

Lane found the "gold egg" in a tree and was pleased to find some cash inside.

Sisters and babies!

Mums and her grandbabies!

Mommy and Ellis.  I was proud of myself for being showered, dressed, and make-up'ed after a long week of not much sleep!

Kori and Baby E

We went out to dinner at Mandola's after our big egg hunt and came back home to squeeze in another Easter tradition.  Dyeing eggs!  Unfortunately, it was majorly stressful!  With 2 eager kids, all of the adults ended up a bit frazzled!

Lane made quite a few messes and cracked a couple almost every egg.

I was trying to nurse Ellis while all of this was going on, so I wasn't much help!  The kids had fun, so that's all that matters!

Big cousin, Evin LOVES Ellis!  She always wants to touch her and give her kisses.

Evin was in the happiest, silliest mood and was giving me some great smiles for the camera!

It was a FUN, busy, exhausting day!  I am so glad we got to celebrate Easter with the ones we love, even if it wasn't on the actual holiday!
