Lane's 3rd Birthday Party - The Guests

And now,  the last installment of Lane's Birthday Party recaps.  Since we were coming in from out of town and having the party at my mom's, we kept his party pretty small this year and only invited family and a few friends.

Here's the crew--minus Gage, who wasn't really feeling the pictures that day!
Lane's cousins Marley and Mason on the left, and his friend Nate on the right.

Lane's 3rd Birthday Party - Cake and Presents!

Ok....almost finished with all of the birthday party posts!  I had a lot of good pictures and want to remember everything so I feel like I shouldn't leave anything out.

After some playtime and lunch, Lane opened his presents.  He got a lot of fun toys!

A scooter from Kori and Mitch--he has loved this gift!

Some more play food for his kitchen from Gran!  He also got an apron and some new pots/pans/utensils.  Maybe he will become a chef someday???

A nerf gun from Mason and Marley

This toy from Uncle Trent was a big hit!

He got lots of neat things!  I didn't get a picture of everything, but he has loved all of his goodies!

After presents we dug into the cake!  Lane had his "proud face" on while we sang Happy Birthday to him.  He was pretty happy!

Make a wish!!!

And now......we scarf!

Lane's 3rd Birthday Party - The Fun Stuff!

Lane had so much fun with his friends at his party.  When the kiddos got there we started the dinosaur egg hunt.  We had to hide the eggs inside because we feared the rain, but it was still fun!  The eggs had dinosaur stickers, tattoos, candy, and dino figurines inside.

Next, we sent the kids over to the dinosaur dig.  I bought some "fossils" off of Amazon and the guests had fun digging for them and putting them in their buckets.

And our last activity was the Triceratops pinata.  Everyone took a couple of swings...

And..........The thing was still intact!  Mason managed to knock off a leg, but this was one tough pinata!  We ended up just dumping the treats out for the kiddies.
